When adventure coins were added guilds were made useless.
Without adventure coins top-tier players cleared their limited entries (maybe even with reset scrolls) and after that they were available to assist low- and mid-tier guild members in the lower dungeons AND still could max-out daily vanguard.
With adventure coins you are already below half of the maximum coins you can hold. If I remember correctly the adventure coins back then covered 2 entries top-tier dungeons and around a handful entries to other worthwhile dungeons. For the extra 400 coins from club buff you could barely squeeze out another top-tier dungeon or another 2 or 3 entries to mid- and low-tier dungeons.
If the runs were quite decent all this could be done in around 2 hours or less.
Now only twinking "helps" to keep you busy
